How can we help?

Quick answers for SeamTrip travelers — general ones first, then everything about the country you are going to. Or message us and a person will reply.

Planning your route

How does SeamTrip choose my cities and nights?

Tell us where you are going, when you land and when you fly home. We suggest cities and nights for exactly that many days, based on what you enjoy and the season — then you change anything: add or remove cities, + or − nights, and drag cities to change the order.

Can I book my flights with SeamTrip too?

Yes — choose "Flying from" with your home airport and we show flights there and back (connecting where needed). Already have your flights? Keep "I already have my flight" and enter your landing time.

Can I book only part of my trip, or save it for later?

Yes. Your plan saves itself; continue any time from My bookings. Book what you are sure of now and the rest later — each part keeps its own cancellation rules. You can also mark a stay or a connection as your own.

What is "Must see"?

Our pick of each city's top sights. Your day plan puts them first, opens each place only on days it is open, and keeps travel between them short.

What do "OK", "tight" and "risky" mean?

OK = comfortable time at every change. Tight = 15–45 spare minutes at one change. Risky = it only works if everything is on time; we suggest alternatives.

Bookings, payment and your account

Is my trip booked when I reserve?

Reserving is free and sends us your trip. Our team checks every item with the operator and confirms it with you by email. Nothing is charged yet.

How will I pay?

One payment for the whole trip by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay when payments open; stays booked on a partner's own site (like Airbnb) are paid there.

How do I sign in?

With your email and a password. Planning works without an account.

What if my flight is late or a service is cancelled?

Add your flight number and we follow it: if you land late we propose a new airport transfer, and if a service is cancelled we propose the next one — accept with one tap on your trip page.

How do I delete my account?

Account → Settings → Delete my account. It removes your profile, saved travelers, plans and reservations. You can download your data first.

Places you can plan

Which places can I plan in Thailand?

Ayutthaya, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Hua Hin, Kanchanaburi, Khao Lak, Khao Sok, Koh Chang, Koh Lanta, Koh Lipe, Koh Phangan, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Samet, Koh Samui, Koh Tao, Krabi, Pai, Pattaya, Phuket, Sukhothai — 21 destinations with every connection between them.

Places to visit

Why are entry fees shown in baht?

Temples, parks and museums take Thai baht at the gate, so we show baht first and your own currency as a guide. Fees change — the place's own sign is what counts.

What should I wear to temples?

Cover shoulders and knees, no see-through clothes; take shoes off where others do. The Grand Palace is the strictest — long trousers or a long skirt.

Getting around: ferries, vans, taxis and Grab

When are the seas rough?

Gulf islands (Samui, Phangan, Tao): usually November–December. Andaman side (Phuket, Krabi, Phi Phi): the monsoon, usually May–October. Ferries can be delayed or cancelled — we warn you on those dates and suggest a spare day before your flight.

Are Grab and taxi prices exact?

They are estimates from the distance. Use the meter in Bangkok taxis or book in the Grab or Bolt app; agree the price first with tuk-tuks and on islands.

Why should I leave an island the day before my flight?

Some islands are far from the airport and boats stop in the evening. If nothing reaches the airport 3 hours before your flight on the same day, we suggest your last night closer to the airport.

Arriving in Thailand

Do I need to fill in an arrival card?

Foreign visitors fill in the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online before arrival, free, at the official site tdac.immigration.go.th. Never pay a third-party site for it. Check the official site for the current rules.

Do I need a visa?

It depends on your passport. Check the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Thai embassy for your country — we only link official sources and never sell visas.

Money and cards

Thai ATMs charge foreign cards a fixed fee per withdrawal (usually 220–250 baht), so take out larger amounts less often. Carry some cash for markets, boats and small shops; cards work in hotels, malls and chains.

SIM card or eSIM?

Both are easy: tourist SIMs at the airport arrival hall, or an eSIM before you fly. Data is cheap and you will want it for maps and Grab.

Staying safe: common tricks to ignore

"The Grand Palace is closed today"

A friendly stranger says it is closed and offers a tuk-tuk tour instead — it ends at a gem or tailor shop. The palace is open daily; walk to the gate yourself.

Very cheap tuk-tuk tours

A 20-baht city tour means stops at shops that pay the driver. Agree where you are going and the price first.

Jet ski and scooter "damage"

Photograph any rental (jet ski, scooter) before you ride and never leave your passport as a deposit. Scooter accidents are often not covered by insurance without a motorbike licence.
